Along the ancient Via Gemina, from the Roman era, is Borgo Tintor – the winery facilities, surrounded by vineyards that are looked after as if they were gardens. A winery that, from the few thousand bottles has seen a production excellence grow to over 200,000 bottles a year, without losing sight of the quality of the aromas and flavours of the grapes of this land.
About half of the 50 hectares of vineyards surround the Bortoluzzi winery in Gradisca d’Isonzo. The remaining land is divided between hills and plain, in two prestigious DOC areas: the Collio and the Isonzo.
