The hills of Oslavia, a small hamlet of Gorizia, is a strip of land in the North-East of Italy, where over the centuries the intertwining of peoples has created a unique cultural mix in the world. The first traces of the presence of the Fiegl family in Oslavia date back to the end of the 17th century, when Valentin Fiegl bought the first vineyard, called Meja. Currently the Fiegl winery cultivates 32 hectares of vineyards to reach a production of about 150,000 bottles. Processing in the cellar is minimal, aimed at respecting the grapes, and the terroir in which they grow.
