The year was 1925 when grandfather Costantino, a native of Manzinello, together with his wife Maria gave life to his winery in Vencò.
His son Luigi, born in 1934, was a good teacher who decided to go out into the fields, leaving behind what could have been a good artistic career, thanks to one of the most sought-after vocations of the Collio.
In 1972, together with his wife Giovanna, Luigi he specialises with his first hectares of vineyard. The influence of a woman in the business was as determinant then as it was in the years to come and it will certainly continue to be in the future.
