COLLIO DAY
Collio Day returns for its ninth edition, an event that has now become a tradition in the Italian wine calendar. A nationwide celebration that, for one evening, “turns AIS halls yellow,” honoring the beauty of the Collio region and the excellence of its DOC wines.
This year, 12 AIS Delegations will take part a mix of long-time supporters and new participants:
AIS Valle d’Aosta, AIS Varese, AIS Mantova, AIS Lucca, AIS Torino, AIS Lodi, AIS Venezia, AIS Romagna (Ravenna), AIS Pistoia, AIS Firenze, AIS Fermo, and AIS Sassari.
Collio Day was created with the goal of promoting and enhancing the extraordinary Collio territory and its remarkable wines.
Throughout the evening, Collio producers will personally meet wine enthusiasts in the various AIS venues, guiding participants through a tasting of seven Collio DOC wines the authentic expression of a terroir unlike any other in the world.
To accompany this sensory journey, guests will enjoy iconic flavors from Friuli Venezia Giulia: Montasio DOP cheese and San Daniele DOP prosciutto, perfectly paired with Collio wines.
Collio Day is not only a training and wine education event it’s a celebration of friendship, passion, and collaboration that unite the world of wine.
An evening that once again reaffirms how Collio serves as a bridge between territories, people, and cultures of taste.

Collio celebrates 60 years from the establishment of the Consorzio
2024 will be a special year for our Consorzio!
We will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its constitution, 60 years of commitment, promotion and enhancement of our wines and our wonderful territory, and we want to honor this milestone by proudly presenting the dedicated logo of the Consorzio Tutela Vini Collio!
Collio Award 2018
Again, this year the Consorzio Tutela Vini Collio Consortium, wanting to commemorate Count Sigismund Douglas Attems of Petzenstein, has set up a competition in collaboration with the University of Udine, the MIB School of Management and the ARGA Friuli Venezia Giulia for five cash prizes.
Among all the participants, the activities that have made the greatest contribution on a scientific, applicative and informative level to the viticulture and oenology sectors and to enhancing the Collio territory will be selected.

Enjoy Collio Experience is back with a new website!
The Consortium has finally announced the return of its most long-awaited event: Enjoy Collio Experience. The second edition of the festival dedicated to the Collio wine and all the irresistible features of our region will take place from June 1 to 2. The flagship of the festival will be the central event: on June 2nd enthusiasts, professionals and journalists will be able to taste the very best of our wine production during the exhibition-tasting event.
In addition, we are happy to announce our new website: a portal for all enthusiasts to stay tuned on all the offers of the Consortium.
