At the Komjanc company in Giasbana, an original tasting of Friuliano, Sauvignon and Picolit Komjanc wines together with some of the specialties preferred by S.M. Elizabeth of Austria. To combine the food and wine culture of the Collio with the art and history of Elisabeth of Austria currently on display in Gorizia.

Nestled between the rows of vines and the nearby woods, in a panoramic position at the top of the Ruttars hill, the splendid Casa delle Rose house, built on a 10th century farmhouse, offers an immersion in the local food and wine. Here you can taste the best wines of the estate (Pinot Bianco, Malvasia, Sauvignon) matched with traditional dishes, prepared before your eyes in a show cooking by the pool under the sign of charm. The Chef Natascha Noia (the Mobile Chef) will prepare in front of the guests the perfect dishes to combine with the wines of Casa delle Rose for a moment of relaxation and exaltation of the senses where people, wine, local products and territory will be the experience you will remember.

You will walk with the producers in their vineyards, they will tell you the many nuances that make La Rajade so unique. You will discover how the daily relationship with the vineyard and the cellar leads to the personality of the Rajade wine … because “Being Terroir” is the expression that expresses their style! Ribolla Gialla, Friulano and Sauvignon are the grapes for excellence “our” hill and in each of these vineyards we will stop briefly and you will have the opportunity to deepen the many nuances of the vineyards, satisfy the curiosity and enjoy the result directly final of our daily commitment …. the wine! The winery, which represents the natural arrival point of the grapes for the metamorphosis in wine, will be the last stage of this little trip where we will discover the winemaking process: that crucial moment through which the elements are transformed and makes us understand how much ‘experience of time, patience and pleasure of waiting are essential to perceive the heat of La Rajade. And what would be the best combination if not the white wine that spends more time in the cellar? The Caprizi Collio Bianco Riserva will be the perfect reward for our little adventure! A walk in the green to enter the natural balance of the Collio, where woods and cultivated land meet harmoniously. The producer Gianni Sgubin will accompany his guests to the point where the biodiversity of the Collio shows itself, in a short route of 6 stages that leads to a spectacular open space with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and across the Friuli plain. From here, tasting the wines produced in this environment, can only enrich the flavors with the joy of experience.

The elegance of simplicity, of the Pascolo family that will host all those who want to fill the eyes of the moving views of the hill of Ruttars, in Dolegna, is the leitmotiv of this party in yellow, a picnic immersed in a painting in the sky open where you can be protagonists of an experience to tell. The wines produced by Alessandro Pascolo will accompany the dishes to be tasted in a relaxing, carefree and deep at the same time.

A walk to discover the territory, savoring the value of slowness. Bottega Errante will accompany the group with the readings of Pierluigi Pintar. To surprise the travelers in the most suggestive stopping points of the route, there will be the notes of the accordion by Paolo Forte, the narratives of Emilio Rigatti, the director of Zoran Matteo Oleotto, the stories of Angelo Floramo. Along the way the producers Blazic, Carlo di Pradis, Picech, Cociancig and Colle Duga will tell the territory with stories, products and tastings.

Wrapped in the embrace of the Castello di Spessa, a splendid historic home dating back to the thirteenth century and famous for having hosted within its walls characters such as Lorenzo Da Ponte and Giacomo Casanova, a dip in the medieval cellar of the oldest aging of the whole Collio, carved right under at the Castle, where it will be possible to taste the great wines produced by the Pali family in the 80 hectares of its own vineyards.

A morning full of well-being and harmony, immersed in the evocative views of a historic Collio company, built where once stood a small village with a castle whose walls are still partially visible. Here, among cafés, pastries, unusual sounds alternating with a visit to the historic wine cellar and the regenerating walks in the green of the rows, you will discover the true meaning of sustainability and respect for nature.

Inside the Enjoy Collio Experience the streets of the Mittel European Race, the most evocative cross-border vintage car race in Italy, are interwoven, in which historical cars built up until 1971 compete in a classic regularity race with foreign participation.
